Lattice Black

The Lattice Black Vessel is hand crafted from white-firing clay, featuring a black glaze with gold speckle detail and finished with a gold rim. The vessel is created by press-moulding, coiling and pinching, then decorated with a satin matte glaze and fired to stoneware temperatures.

The Lattice vessels are inspired by the natural world, with sculptural and abstract forms that explore the essence of the organic, capturing the rhythm and pattern of growth. This is further enhanced by the play of shadows thrown by light travelling across the flanged forms.
